The Governing Body wish to appoint an inspiring and highly effective teaching assistant to work at Aberdare Town Church in Wales Primary School to complement our existing team.
We are looking for an excellent practitioner to provide support in addressing barriers to learning, who has a passion for childrens’ wellbeing and strives to achieve the highest standards. The successful candidate will be part of an ambitious, dedicated and caring staff and will be able to develop strong working relationships with pupils, staff, governors and parents. They will contribute to the distinct Christian ethos of our school family and will place the wellbeing of our children at the centre of their practice. The successful candidate should have the ability to work across the Primary Phase, including Early Years and Progression Steps 1, 2 and 3.
The successful candidate will:
Support the school’s Christian ethos
Have a sound knowledge and understanding of how to safeguard children
Be dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of all learners
Be committed to raising standards and ensuring that all learners realise their full potential
Be highly inclusive in their practice and demonstrate an awareness of the ALN Act
