Junior Sister Band 6 – General Surgery Outpatients Services
• We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Registered Nurse to take the lead in our Outpatient Clinics. These clinics encompass the Breast Centre, Clinic A, and Clinic D, which specialise in Urology, Plastic, Gastroenterology, Colorectal Care, Bariatrics, and Senior Health.
• You will need to be a dynamic and motivated NMC registered nurse with significant experience, ideally within a surgical area and be able to show outstanding leadership in the clinical areas.

• Outpatients see on average 65,000 patients a month working with a large variety of specialities to provide the best possible patient experience. An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 6 Junior Sister in our Outpatients.

Please note that our core hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 8pm


• To support and deputise for the Band 7 Senior Sister and Matron to ensure the provision of excellent nursing care and the effective management of staff and other resources, including roster management, budget management.
• Also, to carry out the day-to-day management and co-ordination of the department.
• Review and manage budgetary resources.
• To ensure that there are education and training opportunities for all staff, including pre and post registration students and /or providing specialist knowledge if working in a clinical area where a post registration course is essential.
