Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 teacher?
A Hertfordshire Primary school is looking for a Year 4 teacher from January to April. This role includes full class responsibility.
The Role:
We are looking for a confident practitioner who can:
• Take full responsibility for a Year 4 class
• Plan, teach, and assess lessons that support pupils’ learning
• Help maintain a calm, positive classroom environment
• Work closely with the KS2 team and share ideas
• Build warm, supportive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
• You’ll be joining a welcoming school with a supportive leadership team and a collaborative staff community.
About the School
You will be a teacher who:
• Holds QTS (or equivalent)
• Has proven experience teaching in KS2
• Can confidently meet the demands of full class responsibility
• Is committed, professional, and passionate about children’s progress
About you:
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience working within KS2
• Can adapt activities to suit the child’s individual needs
• Take full responsibility for a Year 4 class, delivering high-quality lessons
• Can adapt activities to suit the child’s individual needs
• Builds warm, trusting relationships quickly
• Is reliable, consistent and committed to supporting progress
