Due to career advancement within the team, we are currently seeking a part time/job share administrator on a permanent contract.
The post involves supporting the safeguarding team which is part of the wider Quality & Safety Team of the Quality, Governance and Performance Assurance Directorate.
The base for this role is the Trust HQ at Springhill, Wakefield but the team are hybrid working- both at Trust HQ or remote working from home. The ability to utilise online electronic systems such as Microsoft Teams is essential to support ongoing remote working.
The successful candidate will need to be a team player who is adaptable, self-motivated, and innovative.
The working hours of the safeguarding team are Monday-Friday 9-5pm.
Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be conducted on 10th December 2025.
The successful applicant will work alongside the current administrators and other team members for safeguarding to provide administrative support in all aspects of their role, including:
• manage the paediatric liaison / child frequent caller databases and associated administration.
• management of safeguarding concerns and enquiries internally and externally using Datix and ambulance systems to collect information and prepare for clinician review.
• Directly supporting the Head of Safeguarding with administrative support.
The role will support
• Data gathering and analysis to support quality practice.
• Support the dissemination of learning and training.
• Using excellent communication skills to build strong effective relationships with all internal and external partners.
• Contribute to the audits and support compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and to manage conflicting demands on time and resources to deliver objectives through effective time management.

This role is currently hybrid working with a balance between Wakefield HQ and home working. Office hours are Monday -Friday 09:00-17:00
