Site Sustainability Advisor.Location: Sizewell C, Leiston, Suffolk (5 days a week on site.)Employment type: Permanent, full-timeSalary: £55,000 - £60,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.Benefits include:• Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays. • Bonus: Up to 5% annual bonus.• Pension Contributions: Defined Contribution Pension Scheme with up to 7.5% employee contribution and 15%employer contribution.• Flexible Benefits: Additional allowance for a variety of benefits including.Closing date: Wednesday 17 December 2025.About the RoleAs Site Sustainability Advisor at Sizewell C, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the environmental legacy of one of the UK’s largest new nuclear power projects. You’ll work directly on-site, partnering with construction teams and contractors to ensure sustainability is woven into every stage of the build. This hands-on position requires a proactive and practical approach to driving environmental improvements, reducing waste, and promoting innovative sustainability initiatives.The SkillsDegree or equivalent qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in a sustainability or environmental advisory role on a large infrastructure or construction project.Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation, construction sustainability standards, and climate resilience principles.Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Competent in data analysis and sustainability reporting tools.Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. IEMA, CIWEM, ICE) is desirable.If the above sounds like you, then we’d love to hear from you!.Why Join Us?This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to major infrastructure and sustainability project that shape the future. Join the team at Sizewell C. Our vision is to Lead The Way On Nuclear.The Sizewell C team is one of the most exciting and largest new megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. We have begun constructing a 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast in the East of England replicating, wherever possible, the design used for Hinkley Point C, another nuclear power station being built in Somerset.When built, Sizewell C will be one of the largest power stations to operate in the UK. The power station will generate low carbon electricity for at least 60 years, supplying over 6 million homes and supporting around 7% of the UK’s current electricity needs.Our vision is to Lead The Way On Nuclear. We want Sizewell C to define what good leadership for the nuclear industry and British infrastructure looks like and deliver on it.
