In accordance with service needs, you will: Training and Delivery Plan, organise and deliver clinical training sessions in various formats including classroom-based delivery, simulation exercises and hands-on clinical practice. Stay up to date with evidence-based delivery methods to ensure that training is engaging, interactive and accessible for all learners. Lead classroom clinical simulations to replicate real life scenarios to enhance critical thinking, decision making and technical skills. Tailor training delivery to meet the needs of different learner groups including newly qualified nurses and experienced staff requiring upskilling/annual revalidation. Deliver training that aligns with current clinical guidelines and regulatory standards. Highlight and promote evidence-based practices to improve patient care outcomes. Ensure that training materials are up-to-date and relevant to current clinical practices. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration and self-directed learning. Provide constructive feedback to learners to support their professional growth and development. Work closely with the Learning and Development Lead and other stakeholders to align training delivery with the organisations Learning and Development vision. Leadership Exercise a high degree of personal and professional autonomy, drawing on your advanced knowledge and experience. Act as a clinical role model, demonstrating professional behaviour, clinical expertise and a commitment to lifelong learning. Encourage and inspire learners in pursuing career progression and advanced qualifications where applicable. Promote the culture of continuous learning and professional development with each learner. Encourage reflective practice and facilitate discussions on clinical improvements and lessons learned where applicable. Address performance concerns through education and supportive leadership. Work in partnership with the Learning and Development Lead to stay informed about advancements in clinical education and technology, incorporating new approaches where appropriate. Administration Organise and prioritise your own workload within agreed timescales, building in flexibility to deal with unforeseen demands on your time and resources. Maintain accurate records, submitting relevant statistics, reports, and activity data, as requested. Attend meetings as needed, ensuring that they are fully conversant with current issues. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including our shareholder practices and external customers. Coordinate resources, venues, and training materials for training sessions including simulations and workshops. Maintain accurate records of training attendance and competency assessments. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations in line with the organisations current policies and procedures. Support the Learning and Development Lead with the review of training materials to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies is maintained. Professional Development Keep up to date with all mandatory training to ensure compliance and competence. Keep up to date with current literature and advancements in clinical practice. Participate in relevant training, conferences and workshops to remain informed in emerging trends in clinical education. Express needs or desire for further training and work within own remit at all times. Understand how to sign post learners to clinical guidelines in area of training delivery.
