We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as an Analyst, Strategy. You will support the Strategy team with developing and implementing our corporate strategy and working with departments on key projects that support revenue growth, operational efficiency and fan experience.

What will you be doing?

  • Work with the wider Strategy team to support heads of department on departmental strategies and priority projects.
  • Support members of the Strategy team on cross-functional programs of work (e.g., youth engagement, international growth) that could require the development of a plan, assessment of current approach, project delivery etc.
  • Proactive identification and research of opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Proactive identification and research of opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Perform data cleansing and analysis to inform strategic thinking and prioritisation within key club projects.
  • Support on narrative and presentation creation for senior stakeholders for both internal and external audiences.
  • Support on the creation of internal proposals for new growth opportunities, products or markets.
  • Analyse, monitor and keep up to date on sporting trends, legislation, and developments.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have 1-2 years of experience in a similar strategy / consulting position. You will have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and organise data and information effectively. You will an interest in sport and a basic understanding of the business of sport. You will be able to build strong relationships across the club and with external stakeholders.

The right candidate will be able to utilise office tools to present complex information and be able to structure arguments effectively, operating in a relatively self-directed and results-oriented manner. You must be comfortable with numbers and large datasets, and highly proficient in MS Office software, including in particular MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You can either be based at the Liverpool or London office with travel to different offices when needed.
