What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and qualified Teaching Assistant with the skills and knowledge to support children in all stages of primary education. You will be based in class but as required, be expected to cover classes across the school. You may also be deployed to lead intervention groups or work as a 1:1 with a pupil across the school.
The successful candidate will be someone who:
• Holding a minimum Level 3 TA qualification in teaching and learning is essential along with a secure knowledge of primary education.
• Has GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C or above
• Is motivated, positive, hardworking and willing to join an enthusiastic team.
• Is able to demonstrate high expectations for learning and behaviour, working within the schools’ policies and procedures.
• Champions children and puts their needs and well-being at the forefront of the purpose of their role.
• Is professionally discreet and able to respect confidentiality.
• Communicates well with children, colleagues and parents.
