Location: Alexandra House, London Borough of Haringey Hours: 36 per week (09:00 – 17:30) Start Date: 03/12/2025 End Date: 28/02/2026 (temporary sickness cover) Pay Rates: £20.00 PAYE / £26.04 Umbrella IR35 Status: Inside IR35 DBS Requirement: Not required

The Role
As a Feedback and Resolutions Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation to improve service delivery by applying learning from resident and stakeholder feedback. You will ensure effective application of corporate feedback procedures, including complaints, compliments, suggestions, members’ enquiries, and Freedom of Information (FOI) and Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) requests. The role focuses on resolving issues at the earliest stage and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and respond to complaints, compliments, suggestions, and members’ enquiries.
Handle FOI and EIR requests in line with statutory requirements.
Seek resolution to issues raised at the earliest stage of the process.
Ensure effective application of corporate feedback procedures.
Support the organisation in applying learning from feedback to improve service delivery.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Candidate Requirements
Good working knowledge of government legislation impacting local authority work, particularly Data Protection, FOI, and Information Security.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information Act.
Experience of dealing with requests under FOI 2000 and/or Data Protection Act 2018.
Sound working knowledge of related legislation including the Regulatory Investigatory Powers Act and Human Rights Act (desirable).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage sensitive enquiries effectively.
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
Competent IT skills to manage casework and reporting.
