Role Overview
The London Borough of Enfield is seeking a dedicated Anti-Social Behaviour Officer (SO2) to join their Housing team within the People Department. This is a vital role covering maternity leave, where you’ll be at the forefront of tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) and improving the lives of residents across the borough.
We are looking for a passionate, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in making a difference in local communities.
️ Key Responsibilities
Case managing a range of ASB cases from first report to resolution, including legal action where necessary
Participating in multi-agency working with internal and external partners
Managing ASB cases in line with the incremental approach, applying knowledge of statutory and legal frameworks
Identifying and managing risk levels for all parties involved in ASB cases
Planning and prioritising effectively to achieve targets and meet deadlines
Attending partnership meetings and community engagement events
Providing support and signposting to domestic abuse survivors
Maintaining accurate records and supporting vulnerable residents
✅ Candidate Requirements
Enhanced DBS clearance (required)
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of legislation including:
Crime and Disorder Act 1998
Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006
Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003
Understanding of the Troubled Families Initiative and community safety frameworks
Experience in anti-social behaviour casework (desirable)
⏰ Assignment Details
Start Date: 10 November 2025
End Date: 02 February 2026
Hours: 35 per week
Shift Times: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
Pay Rates
PAYE: £21.00 per hour
Umbrella/Ltd: £26.36 per hour
