We are seeking an experienced UK Asset Manager to join our Engineering Assurance & Governance team.
This role will provide strategic oversight of maintenance for all physical assets across UK sites, ensuring robust asset management practices and compliance with ISO 55001 standards.
Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will lead initiatives that enhance reliability and deliver a value-for-money approach.
Job Description
You will play a key role in implementing the annual asset management plan, supporting sustainability objectives such as achieving net zero, and improving system reliability and performance.
Working closely with the Head of Asset Reliability, in-house engineering teams, and suppliers, you will ensure assets operate efficiently and with minimal environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head of Asset Reliability in implementing the asset management function to deliver a value-for-money approach.
Ensure effective implementation of the annual asset management plan for every building, in line with ISO 55001.
Deliver asset management initiatives aligned with client sustainability objectives, including energy efficiency and net zero targets.
Support the development and execution of the annual Statutory Compliance & Audit programme, including resolution of CARs.
Drive system reliability improvements through identification and implementation of asset reliability programmes across UK sites.
Track and monitor asset failures, develop tools for performance monitoring, and produce monthly asset performance reports.
Lead fault reporting and collaborate with engineering site leads and suppliers to develop technical solutions that reduce failures.
Maintain and implement root cause analysis systems for critical equipment failures, ensuring timely remedial actions.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven track record in asset management within complex environments.
Strong experience in delivering business improvement and cost efficiency.
Excellent knowledge of reliability engineering, reliability-centred maintenance, technical standards, and relevant legislation.
Skilled in contract and supplier management, with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Ideally, FM Asset background and M&E qualifications.
Experience in sectors such as CEM, data centres, banking, or healthcare is desirable.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
