As an IT Asset Manager, you will have responsibility and accountability for IT Asset Management at mid-level tier publishers. You will gather deployment data and engage with stakeholders, in order to ensure process effectiveness and compliance.
You will be responsible for the overall gathering of deployment data within your area. You will manage corrective actions to resolve areas of non-compliance or breaches to policy affecting license agreements. You will contribute towards the development of asset management strategies, policies, standards, plans, procedures and guidelines.
You will contribute towards the overall publisher strategies to facilitate optimisation. You will ensure the integrity and accuracy of IT assets and data. You will report on the status of asset management processes and data, which will include providing management information on process effectiveness. You will support the adoption of new technology and make use of automation wherever possible to increase process efficiency and accuracy.
This IT Asset Management role will support the overall Asset Management Lead to introduce strategy/policy/process and measurement for not only the IT assets directly renewed/controlled by the DWP IT Asset Management team but also all other IT assets on the DWP estate.
