Are you a qualified and experienced trade professional who is looking to progress into a management role? We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Zonal Maintenance Manager (First Response) in our Estates team, Facilities Directorate.

You will be leading a professional Direct Labour Organisation, (DLO) team and specialist subcontractors in achieving reactive maintenance, pre-planned maintenance (PPM) to all aspects of the diverse University portfolio. You will report to the Zonal Maintenance Manager, (First Response) where you will be the central point of contact to ensure reactive, PPM maintenance and compliance is adhered to in line with statutory procedures, legislation and guidelines. Your daily interaction with our internal customers and contractors means you’ll be the ‘face’ of the maintenance team/contractors and you must have excellent communication and organisational skills to deliver a first-class service to achieve the best customer experience. You will deputise for the Zonal Maintenance Manager, (First Response) as required.
