Location: Lambeth Civic Centre Workers Hours per week: 35 Start Date: 22 December 2025 End Date: 25 February 2026 (covering a vacant post) Pay Rates: PAYE: £18.83 per hour Umbrella/Ltd: £24.49 per hour

Role: Income Assistant (SC5)
We are seeking an Income Assistant to manage tenancy terminations and support housing operations. You will ensure compliance with organisational policies, process documentation, and coordinate with internal teams to facilitate smooth transitions of void properties.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the process of terminating tenancies in line with policies and procedures.
Ensure proper documentation and return of keys/fobs for void properties.
Process tenancy terminations for various reasons (death, eviction, relinquishment, abandonment).
Coordinate with internal teams to support the transition of vacant properties.
Assist with property viewings and general team functions as required.
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of applications.
Candidate Requirements
Experience working in housing services or a related administrative role.
Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to manage sensitive tenancy issues with discretion and professionalism.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of housing policies and procedures desirable.
Enhanced DBS required.
