Whether you are at the start of your career or looking to broaden your experience @ESTH is a superb place to be.
The Trust is committed to “putting every patient first, every day”. Our patients and their families tell us that we provide compassionate, kind care and that our staff have happy faces with big smiles. We believe that this is because our teams respect and care for one another due to all our staff feeling valued at work. “Joy at work” is our top priority and we know happy staff means wonderful patient care is delivered.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join our very friendly team working in our 13 bedded coronary care unit, with the opportunity to rotate to our cardiology day unit which supports patients undergoing coronary angiography and pacing procedures.
We are seeking nurses with a strong clinical background who are enthusiastic to develop their clinical skills and make a real positive impact on the experiences of our patients. You will enjoy working in a busy environment and be a true team player. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. A period of post registration experience in an acute setting is required but we will provide you with access to post registration education to support your cardiology career. We provide in-house training and have cardiology specific competencies to help our staff demonstrate their professional progression

St George’s, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group cares for a population of four million people in South West London and North East Surrey. Our sites include St George’s Hospital, one of 11 major trauma centres in the UK and the largest healthcare provider and major teaching hospital in the area; St Helier Hospital, home to the South West Thames Renal and Transplantation Unit and Queen Mary's Hospital for Children; and Epsom Hospital, home to the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC).

After years of collaboration, our two Trusts became a hospitals group in 2021. While remaining as two separate Trusts, being a hospitals group will help us to collaborate more closely on research, and the development, education, and training of our 17,000-strong workforce.

At gesh we are committed to supporting flexible working arrangements. Applicants are encouraged to discuss any flexibility they may need during the recruitment process.
