Volunteer Coordination & Support Attract, engage and coordinate fundraising volunteers, ensuring they are appropriately prepared for their role, supported, and equipped to deliver successful activities. Develop and implement volunteer stewardship plans to build strong, long term relationships with individuals and groups. Act as the first point of contact for all fundraising volunteers, providing advice, resources, and encouragement to help them maximise their fundraising impact. Maintaining and monitoring accurate volunteer records and communications on the volunteering hub, ensuring compliance with data protection and internal policies. Work alongside the Volunteering team to recognise and celebrate the contribution of volunteers through appreciation events, awards, and ongoing communications. Fundraising & Community Engagement Work with the Community Partnerships Team to identify opportunities for volunteer led fundraising activities across Somerset. Support the team with planning, delivery, and evaluation of community fundraising events and campaigns including those taking place outside normal office hours. Represent St Margarets Hospice at community events, cheque presentations, and volunteer meetings, acting as an inspiring ambassador for the charity. Help develop and grow local fundraising groups or committees, supporting them to organise events, collections, and other fundraising initiatives. Liaise with the Volunteering team to promote fundraising volunteer stories, opportunities, and successes through digital and print channels.Administration & Reporting Provide high quality administrative support to the Events and Community Partnerships Team, maintaining accurate records of volunteer and fundraising activity on the Volunteer database. Prepare write ups and reports on volunteer engagement, event participation, and income generation to inform strategy and planning as well as support communication tools. Working with the Volunteering team to develop and consider potential new fundraising and volunteering opportunities to support income growth. As well as recruitment engagement opportunities. Teamwork & Values Work closely with the Supporter Experience team as well as Volunteering Team to ensure volunteers and community fundraisers receive a seamless and positive experience. Proactively contribute to the achievement of fundraising targets and strategic goals as part of the wider team. Attend monthly meetings with Volunteering team to identify opportunities and feed into the volunteer campaigns and communications. Champion the hospices values, ensuring that volunteers feel connected to our mission and understand the impact of their support. Undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by your line manager in support of team objectives.
