Neway International are seeking a Tenancy Services Co‑ordinator to join our client based with Ashfield District Council.

Location: Ashfield District Council, Urban Road, Kirkby, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG17 8DA
Hours: 37 hours per week
Start Date: 15 December 2025
Duration: Initially for 6 months
Pay Rates: PAYE £13.68 per hour / Limited/Umbrella £17.39 per hour

Role
As a Tenancy Services Co‑ordinator, you will support the Tenancy and Estates Team in delivering effective housing management services. You will play a key role in ensuring tenants receive timely support, housing surgeries and inspections are coordinated, and administrative processes are managed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain appointment systems and coordinate housing surgeries, estate inspections, new tenant visits, and tenancy reviews

Administer requests for mutual exchanges, successions, tenancy assignments, and permissions

Handle enquiries, provide housing advice, and support Housing Officers with inspections and tenancy visits

Process requests such as TV licences, keys/fobs, and referrals relevant to the section

Assist with sheltered scheme reviews and provide cover for the Lifeline Service when required

Collect and prepare statistical information, update management and performance data

Manage correspondence, electronic filing, and housing management systems

Contribute to team performance targets and suggest service improvements

Candidate Requirements
Understanding of social housing issues and their impact on customers

Experience in call handling and customer service environments

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to organise and prioritise workload with attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and IT systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Previous experience in housing or public sector administration is desirable
