Nursery Manager, you’ll oversee the daily running of a busy Early Years setting, empower a dedicated team, and ensure excellence across safeguarding, teaching, and care. With a strong focus on quality, community and values, this is a role where your expertise will genuinely shine.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or above – essential.
  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager.
  • Strong, confident knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted expectations.
  • Skilled in team leadership, coaching and performance management.
  • Ability to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the nursery team to deliver exceptional Early Years provision.
  • Ensure full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding requirements and Ofsted standards.
  • Oversee daily operations, staffing, curriculum planning and health & safety.
  • Drive continuous improvement through reflective practice and quality monitoring.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, families and external partners.
  • Manage budgets, resources and occupancy effectively.
  • Promote a culture rooted in the nursery’s mission and values.
