Summary
Deputy Nursery Manager
Salary: Up to £31,000
40 Hours per week
As our client’s Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll play an important role in leading an Ofsted Outstanding setting, working alongside a passionate team to deliver high-quality early years care. With age-specific rooms, engaging outdoor spaces and a nurturing environment at the heart of everything we do, this role offers the perfect balance of leadership responsibility and hands-on care.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher (required).
- Experience as a Deputy Manager, Room Leader or Third In Charge within early years.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development in a nurturing, well-resourced setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the setting.
- Lead and mentor staff to deliver inspiring, child-centred learning experiences.
- Maintain exceptional standards of safeguarding, compliance and EYFS practice.
- Build warm, positive partnerships with families and carers.
- Contribute to staff deployment, budgeting and administrative tasks.
- Promote continuous improvement and uphold the nursery’s Outstanding reputation.
