Are you passionate about supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and behaviour in a nurturing, inclusive environment? We are offering an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our excellent Behaviour Support team and to lead our Lunchtime team to ensure the whole lunchtime experience is as positive as possible for the children.
At Chorlton Park we pride ourselves on providing a safe, caring and inclusive environment for every child. Chorlton Park is part of the CLIC Co-operative Trust with six other local primary schools. The core vision of CLIC is Changing Lives in Collaboration: 'Together We Make the Difference'.
We are looking for applicants who:
• Can oversee the care, safety, welfare and supervision of children during the lunch break, in the playground, dining hall and other areas, ensuring the whole lunchtime experience is as positive as possible for the children
• Is able to build positive relationships with adults and children and be able tolead a small team using clear, firm and fair communication
• Has a calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to managing behaviour
• Has a good understanding of SEMH and SEND strategies
• Will promote emotional regulation and positive social interactions among pupils
• Has excellent communication skills and is committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
• Is willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community
• Has at a minimum: Level 3 Education and Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification
We require candidates with a minimum of Level 3 Education and Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification.
