Fixed Term for 9 months
Part time 17.76 hours per week
Band 5 - Salary Range £33,247 - £41,424 per annum (pro-rata)
Distant Island Allowance of £2,482 per annum (pro rata)
Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available

Our 21 bedded Medical Ward delivers generalist care to patients from babies to older people. These patients may be suffering from a variety of acute conditions including asthma, myocardial infarction, diabetes and stroke. Whilst also delivering rehabilitation to patients with chronic respiratory conditions and coronary heart disease. We also stabilise patients prior to transfer to specialist services, including psychiatry, on the UK mainland. There may also be an on-call requirement with this role.

You will be a qualified Registered Nurse preferably with post registration medical experience. A commitment to delivering evidenced based care and patient safety is essential. Medical nursing experience, mentorship skills and the ability to undertake extended roles are desirable.

This contract is for a fixed-term period of 9 months. The reason for the fixed-term contract is Career break cover. If you wish to apply for this post as a secondment opportunity, you will need to discuss with your line manager before submitting an application.
