Bishop Auckland College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed 1.0 Lecturer Coordinator in Maths to join our successful Math department. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding teaching and learning across a range of study programmes, while coordinating the planning and quality assurance of maths provision across the department.
This role is part of the continued growth and development of our Maths and English team. With rising learner numbers and an expanding curriculum, we are increasing our team to ensure high-quality maths delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about helping learners achieve their full potential in mathematics, from GCSE to Functional Skills and beyond.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher with the potential to be involved in improving student outcomes. There is also the potential for you to train to become a qualified teacher whilst earning a salary.

The successful candidate will be required to possess Certificate in Education (or be willing to work towards within 2 years) and a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (or currently working towards).
Applicants will also have recent experience of teaching on a range of courses in FE or a training establishment or be able to demonstrate their potential as part of the interview process.

Grade: harmonised pay scale points 23-35 (£27,564.92 - £37,659.47 per annum)
Hours: 37 hours per week, permanent position

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging in regulated activity.
