Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support, managing data entry tasks, and maintaining effective communication within the organisation. This position requires a blend of organisational skills and technical proficiency to facilitate daily operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to various departments as needed.
Manage incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organised.
Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Assist in the management of financial records using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
Maintain an organised filing system for both electronic and paper documents.
Coordinate office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
Support scheduling and calendar management for meetings and appointments.
Skills
Previous office experience is essential, with a strong background in administrative roles preferably within a manufacturing company
Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed in data entry tasks.
Demonstrated clerical experience that showcases your ability to handle various administrative duties effectively.
This is a temporary position covering maternity leave of up to 12 months.
