Sales Administrator / Customer Service Adviser
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000
Location: Oldbury
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary on going (possibility to go perm)
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Sales Administrator / Customer Service Adviser to join their busy and growing team on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality customer service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the sales and administration functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and excellent communication with customers.
Role Requirements:
• Previous experience in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Strong background in administration and customer service
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Confident telephone manner with the ability to build rapport effectively
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Role Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound customer enquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally
• Make outbound calls to existing and potential customers to maintain and develop relationships
• Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Raise and issue invoices using Xero software
• Provide proactive customer support to ensure expectations are consistently met
• Deliver an exceptional customer journey through a professional and positive approach
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments
• Coordinate and manage the dispatch of customer orders
