Location: Hybrid (Grantham 2 days a week)
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (35 working hours and a paid 1 hr lunch break a day)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,0000 depending on experience
At PayPlan, we are looking for a Communications Manager to take ownership of how we speak to clients, partners and colleagues.
You’ll manage our communications strategy, shape messaging across multiple channels and work closely with senior leaders to make
sure our voice is clear, warm and consistent.
You’ll lead a small team of Marketing Executives while producing high quality communication yourself, from press releases and
media statements through to internal updates and campaign messaging.
This is a varied, strategic and hands on role for someone who enjoys influencing direction as much as writing the words that land
it.
What you’ll be doing
* Owning and developing our communications strategy
* Managing and coaching two Marketing Executives
* Producing clear, consistent and compliant messaging for all audiences
* Leading press releases, media engagement and agency support where needed
* Coordinating internal communications including leadership updates and announcements
* Working with Digital and Marketing teams to align messaging across web, social, email and Intercom
* Supporting major projects including digital transformation and AI initiatives
* Tracking communication performance and reporting insight to senior stakeholders
What we’re looking for
* Strong experience in communications or a similar role
* Excellent writing skills across formats and channels
* Confident stakeholder management and the ability to influence senior colleagues
* Experience managing or supporting junior team members
* Ability to simplify complex topics with warmth and clarity
* Someone who enjoys balancing strategy with hands on delivery
What you’ll get
* A central role in shaping how our brand speaks
* A supportive team environment with room to grow
* Hybrid working
* The chance to influence major transformation projects

like to hear from you.
