The Role and Responsibilities
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor on this luxury scheme, your role will be central to the project's commercial success. You will be responsible for managing multiple packages from procurement through to final account, ensuring commercial control and strong communication with both internal and external teams.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
* Full commercial management of key packages
* Procuring subcontractors and negotiating strong commercial terms
* Cost reporting, forecasting and budget control
* Managing variations, valuations and payment cycles
* Ensuring contract compliance and accurate documentation
* Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team
* Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and consultants
* Representing the contractor with a high level of professionalism
