Vibe Recruit are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator to join a busy and growing operation in the Hengoed area. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. We are looking for someone reliable, flexible, and committed - not a short-term quick fix.
Hours of Work
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
(Full-time, office-based)
Pay Rate
- £12.48 per hour
Role Overview
This is a mixed administrative and warehouse role, consisting of approximately:
- 75% Administration
- 25% Warehouse Duties
The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse administration, despatch, transport coordination, and goods-in/goods-out processes. You will be supporting the office and warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily operations, accurate paperwork, and efficient dispatching.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming goods and despatch documentation
- Booking transport and scheduling collections
- Creating and maintaining all related paperwork
- Liaising with customers, drivers, and warehouse staff
- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting general warehouse duties as needed (approx. 25%)
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Assisting with stock checks and inventory updates
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse administrative or despatch admin role
- Knowledge of transport booking, despatch processes, and goods-in procedures
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident dealing with customers, drivers, and warehouse personnel
- IT literate with good attention to detail
- Flexible and willing to support warehouse tasks when required
- Looking for a long-term role with the view to permanence
