The Role

As a Mechanic at e-scooter clinic, you’ll develop specialist skills, work with a variety of PEVs and gain experience that can boost your career in a growing industry. Every repair is an opportunity to build confidence, learn something new, and make a real difference for customers.
In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair and maintain personal electric vehicles such as scooters, e-bikes, EUCs, skateboards, mobility scooters, segways, and dirt bikes. You’ll work in a well-organised, safety-focused workshop, learning from experienced colleagues and developing hands-on expertise that will set you apart in the PEV industry.
We have 2 premises that you can work from, either our N1 location or our HA5 location, or you can rotate between the two if you’d prefer.

Key Responsibilities:
• Follow workshop rules, uniform standards, and safety protocols.
• Keep the workshop clean, organised, and ready for action.
• Use internal systems for communication, task updates, and documentation.
• Carry out accurate diagnostics using flowcharts, wiring diagrams, and SOPs.
• Identify electrical and physical damage and record findings clearly.
Complete repairs such as:
• Puncture repairs.
• Motor and controller testing.
• Wiring checks.
• Battery diagnosis and replacements.
• Write clear customer estimates and notes.
• Build experience through structured training on small and medium scooters.
• Progress to more complex PEVs as your skills grow.
• Work closely with the Workshop Supervisor and wider team.
• Share repair insights and improvement ideas.
• Continue developing your skills through training, guides, and new repair methods.

The Person
• Strong technical ability with mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Confident using tools and following safety procedures.
• Good diagnostic habits and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow SOPs, safety standards, and documentation procedures.
• Able to manage time well and ask for guidance when needed.
• Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment.
• Strong interest in PEVs and willingness to undergo structured training.
• Previous experience as a Mechanic (bikes, e-bikes, PEVs, automotive) is a bonus but not essential.
