Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Hammersmith - Commercial Office - Client Facing - Up to £45,000
Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based near Hammersmith. CBW are currently recruiting for a Static Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a prestigious commercial office building based near Hammersmith station.
My Client is a well established FM provider that is privately owned and has 20+ years of experience providing a range of hard FM services across London and the home counties. They specialise within, mechanical, electrical engineering, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
The site is a well know commercial office that is located 5 minutes away from Hammesmith station. Some of the lines that connect to Hammersmith are - Circle, Hammersmith & City, District line. Within the building it is a 10 store state of the art building with brand new equipment. This building is a cooperate head office building holding one of the biggest companies in the world.
In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, plenty of overtime available, 26 days holiday + Bank holidays, further training and further career progression, call outs are required, 3% pension.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor the mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Pressurisation Units
- Cooling Towers
- Chillers
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment
- Monitor the BMS systems
- Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist subcontractors
- Doing reactive works
Hours of work
- Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
- 8am to 5pm
Requirements
- Mechanically / Plumbing qualified - You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
- Installation experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Happy to cover a large site
- Honest, hard working and reliable
