Commercial Engineer - Permanent Role
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £47,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

The Best Connection is seeking a Commercial Engineer to join a precision engineering leader in Wolverhampton. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering excellent benefits and long-term development.
The Role- Produce accurate customer quotations using best-practice estimating methods.
- Lead and coordinate estimating activities across the team.
- Provide commercial support for engineering Cost of Sales (COS).
- Analyse COS data to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and documentation updates.
- Estimate CNC machined parts and prepare costings for new business.
- Work with Supply Chain to source materials to customer specification.
- Strong knowledge of precision engineering processes, tooling and fixtures.
- Experience delivering cost-saving initiatives.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Confident communicator and collaborative team player.
