Summary

Commercial Engineer - Permanent Role

Location: Wolverhampton

Salary: £47,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

The Best Connection is seeking a Commercial Engineer to join a precision engineering leader in Wolverhampton. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering excellent benefits and long-term development.

The Role
  • Produce accurate customer quotations using best-practice estimating methods.
  • Lead and coordinate estimating activities across the team.
  • Provide commercial support for engineering Cost of Sales (COS).
  • Analyse COS data to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and documentation updates.
  • Estimate CNC machined parts and prepare costings for new business.
  • Work with Supply Chain to source materials to customer specification.

  • Strong knowledge of precision engineering processes, tooling and fixtures.
  • Experience delivering cost-saving initiatives.
