We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Sexual Health Nurse (Outreach) to join our Integrated Sexual Health Service in East Sussex.

You’ll be part of a friendly, consultant-led multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality sexual health care across clinic and outreach settings. This role focuses on providing accessible services to people who may not attend mainstream clinics, supporting early testing, treatment, contraception, and health promotion.

You’ll use your clinical skills to:
• Deliver nurse-led clinics and outreach sessions in community venues.
• Provide holistic, person-centred assessment, treatment, and education.
• Support partner notification, safeguarding, and health improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and students, helping build a supportive learning culture.
• Take part in service development and quality improvement work that reflects our CARE values — Compassionate, Aspirational, Responsive and Excellent.

If you’re passionate about reducing sexual-health inequalities and making services more inclusive, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note, this vacancy does not meet the criteria for skilled worker sponsorship and therefore, we are unable to accept applications from candidates that cannot provide documentary evidence of right to work in the United Kingdom.

Support the delivery of contraception services including emergency contraception, oral contraception and long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) pathways.

Promote HIV testing, provide results, and support onward referral to HIV services as required.

Lead and support partner notification, safeguarding, and risk-reduction interventions in line with local and national guidance.

Work collaboratively with partner agencies to improve access to care for vulnerable groups, including those who are homeless, involved in sex work, or otherwise marginalised.

Contribute to outreach and health-promotion campaigns aimed at reducing inequalities and improving sexual health outcomes.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in clinical audit, quality improvement and governance activity.

Supervise, support and mentor junior nurses, health advisers and students, ensuring safe clinical practice and professional development.

Participate in service evaluation, clinical meetings and development initiatives to improve care delivery and patient experience.
