The Business Partner is a new role in digital and data which will support the Head of Business Change and Innovation in achieving transformational change and programme delivery to support our service users better. The role will be a key link between digital and data services and the wider Trust. The postholder will be aligned to specific functions in the Trust (to be agreed) and gain a very close working knowledge of their needs, priorities and plans. They will use this knowledge, working with colleagues in digital and data, to align the service offering via the SIAM tower providers.
This post holder will require excellent communication and relationship management skills, as well as a sound technical understanding of the digital and data estate, emerging technologies and capabilities in the market, process analysis and optimisation, and experience of successful project delivery. This will need to be combined with a detailed knowledge of the Trust’s operations and changing needs, both clinical and non-clinical. The post holder will need to build a good understanding of the wider Trust ecosystem of the NW London community, mental health collaborative, ICSs, Local Authorities, and other Trusts . They will work towards a future vision of service delivery, based on insight and new thinking, and help to deliver pragmatic programmes of work to realise this.
In this role you will act as a bridge between clinical and non-clinical services and the Digital & Data function, helping the Trust get maximum value from its digital, data and technology investments. You will develop a deep understanding of the business areas you support – their priorities, workflows, challenges and ambitions – and translate these into clear, structured requirements for digital and data services.
The role has a strong focus on improvement and assurance. You will help identify opportunities for new initiatives.
Skills and experience we’re looking for include:
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
Experience in business analysis, service improvement and business change
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex ideas clearly to different audiences
Experience supporting digital, data or IT-enabled change, ideally in a healthcare or similarly complex environment
Good understanding of project and programme delivery, including risk and benefits management
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and insight to shape decisions
Awareness of NHS regulatory, policy and information governance requirements (or willingness to develop this)
Financial awareness and the ability to work within budget constraints
Flexibility to travel across Trust sites in North and West London and Hertfordshire, and occasionally nationally.
Just as we care about our patients’ well-being, we care about yours!

• Car lease scheme(only available for Band 5 and up)
• Flexible working options
