The Best Connection West Bromwich has a fantastic opportunity for a Crosshead Extrusion Setter to join our clients fantastic manufacturing/distribution centre based within the heart of West Bromwich.
- Pay: £14.00.
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 6am - 6pm.
- Immediate start - Interview & CV is required before starting this role.
You will be working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, please see main duties below.
Daily duties include:
- Work under the direction of a Team Leader, following assigned tasks and instructions.
- Set up and operate Crosshead Extrusion machinery.
- Carry out routine tool maintenance, including cleaning.
- Inspect incoming materials and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production and quality records.
- Uphold strong 5S standards within the work area.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of the role.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as required.
