About the Role
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to join our agency team in Newport and the surrounding South Wales area. This role offers flexible shifts, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work across a variety of care environments, with a strong focus on nursing homes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with individual care plans
Administer medication and treatments safely and effectively
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
Work collaboratively with care staff, families, and external professionals
Respond to clinical emergencies and follow safeguarding procedures
Promote dignity, respect, and person-centred care at all times
Essential Requirements
Valid NMC pin (active and in good standing)
Enhanced DBS certificate
Up-to-date mandatory training, including Immediate Life Support, Manual Handling, and Infection Control
Minimum of 6–12 months experience working within a variety of settings — particularly nursing homes
Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
Ability to adapt to new environments and work autonomously
