Job Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic Support Worker to join our small and dedicated team. You’ll be supporting adults aged 16 and over with a wide range of additional needs. The role is based primarily on the farm and includes trips out in the community. You will work with both individuals and groups, helping to create a welcoming, stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support guests with daily tasks including animal care, gardening, cooking, arts and crafts
Help plan and deliver activities that encourage engagement, wellbeing and connection
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed, including safe food preparation
Foster a warm, inclusive and respectful environment for guests and colleagues alike
Work collaboratively as part of a team, always putting guests’ needs at the heart of what you do
Build positive relationships with guests, their families and external professionals
What We’re Looking For:
Awareness or understanding of additional needs and/or dementia
A calm, patient and flexible approach
Initiative and creativity in supporting meaningful activities
Experience with animals is a bonus, but not essential
A genuine passion for helping people live well, whatever their stage in life
