At SEEAT, we're proud of our progress, but we're always striving to do more. Our mission is to raise achievement for all pupils and ensure that every child across our nine schools thrives, regardless of background or ability.
We want every pupil to achieve more by attending a SEEAT school than they would anywhere else. Equity means helping every child reach the highest standards, never lowering them.
We're seeking a Head of Inclusion to play a pivotal role in driving our inclusive strategy across the Trust. You'll lead on policy, training, and practice to support pupils with SEND, EAL, and those facing disadvantage, ensuring no learner is left behind.
This part-time position (0.4 FTE) can be delivered over 2 or 3 days per week, offering true flexibility to suit your personal circumstances. It's ideal for an experienced inclusion leader ready to broaden their influence while maintaining work-life balance.
You'll hold QTS and a recognised SEND leadership qualification, with a proven track record of improving inclusion across schools. You'll work closely with the Executive Team, Trustees, and Headteachers to make a measurable difference in outcomes for pupils.
Career progression is actively supported; this role could be a stepping stone to a future Trust-level directorship or wider strategic post.
Our central office is based at The Deanes, but travel between all nine schools is expected. A full UK driving licence is preferred.
Safeguarding:
South East Essex Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All postholders work in Regulated Activity and must hold an Enhanced DBS disclosure. Online and social media checks may be undertaken for shortlisted candidates in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
