As a Machine Operative, your roles and responsibilities will include…
• Picking, sorting and dispatching products/materials along with quality checks
• Operating stock preparation equipment and ensure continuous supply
• Operating/driving a Telehandler and Excavator
• Unloading trucks and working on waste permitted site
• Understanding production schedules and carrying out safety checks
• Accurately completing/recording all relevant data/documentation as required
We’re looking for a Machine Operative with the following skills and experience…
• Previous experience in waste management or similar is essential
• Experience with a 360 Excavator (using a selector grab) and JCB Telehandler would be beneficial
• Up to date certificates for using the above is preferred
• Self-motivated and can-do attitude towards health and safety
• Adaptable and flexible, good quality checking skills and communication skills
• Prepared to work shifts, weekends and overtime as required
In return the successful Machine Operative will receive from £15 per hour, plus the following benefits…
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and birthday off
• Shut down over Christmas
• Lots of overtime available paid at enhanced rates
