Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Anti-Social Behaviour Officer (SO2) to join our team and help address and mitigate issues related to anti-social behaviour within our community. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a safer environment by engaging with residents, community groups, and local agencies. Your work will be vital in identifying trends in anti-social behaviour, implementing effective strategies, and promoting community cohesion. As an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer, you will be expected to conduct investigations, gather evidence, and prepare reports to support enforcement actions when necessary. You will also provide guidance and support to victims of anti-social behaviour, ensuring they have the resources and assistance they need to address their concerns. A collaborative approach is essential as you work alongside various stakeholders, including local authorities, law enforcement, and community services. The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills, a sound understanding of legislation related to anti-social behaviour, and a genuine commitment to improving public safety and community well-being. Responsibilities
Investigate reports of anti-social behaviour and gather necessary evidence.
Develop and implement action plans to tackle specific incidents of anti-social behaviour.
Engage with residents and community groups to raise awareness and educate on anti-social behaviour issues.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and agencies to coordinate responses to anti-social behaviour incidents.
Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and recommendations based on findings from investigations.
Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and provide updates to stakeholders.
Assist in the development of community safety initiatives and campaigns.
Requirements
Proven experience in dealing with anti-social behaviour or related community safety roles.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to anti-social behaviour.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse communities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
Proficient in report writing and case documentation to support enforcement and community initiatives.
Experience in conflict resolution and mediation techniques.
Strong analytical skills to assess situations and develop effective strategies.
Hours Per Week: 35.00

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £21.00
