Our client is looking for a talented (mostly front-end) developer to join their team.

Our client is a team of passionate and friendly designers and developers primarily based in Lincoln. They hand code innovative, characterful websites that help their customers grow. They love their work and are looking for a talented web developer to help them create even more wonderful websites.

This is a full time post and you'll be working with their existing development team to help make their beautifully designed websites and custom add-ons a reality using your development skills. They like their websites to be brilliantly designed and look great underneath, so an attention to detail and a pride in your code will be necessary. If you have a strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP and are interested in back-end work as well, this could be the perfect opportunity. They're looking for a developer with an eye for detail who takes pride in writing clean, semantic code.

Necessary skills:

- Excellent HTML and semantics

- Excellent CSS, Sass & JS

- Knowledge of CSS architectures (ie. BEM or ITCSS)

- Experience with tasks and package managers (ie. Vite or Webpack)

- Experience of integrating sites into a CMS (Statamic/Craft/Wordpress)

- Experience with Git

They'd love you to have:

- Previous experience in an agency environment

- Framework experience (ie. Laravel, AlpineJS and Livewire)

- 3rd party API integration experience

- SQL and database management skills

- Basic server management and deployments

They're looking for someone who's really passionate about their codeand isn't afraid to suggest improvements to their current workflow and website builds - they like their team to have a keen interest in design as well as current and future technology. They love a can-do attitude and whilst a lot of their work is Statamic based they're always happy to help their customers, regardless of platform. This makes a willingness to get stuck-in really important - with new concepts, frameworks and methodologies always around the corner!

They are looking for someone with at least one years recent commercial development experience , although if you're a super talented junior developer feel free to apply.

If this sounds like you, you can look forward to:

- Competitive salary based on experience (£27-35K)

- Flexible working hours

- Mondays and Fridays working from home

- City centre parking pass (if required)

- Company pension scheme

- A fully kitted out Mac with all the software you need

- A good work/life balance

- A trusting, enthusiastic environment

- A diverse range of projects (front-end builds all the way to custom API's)

The role is an exciting and varied one and they're looking forward to seeing what you can do! To apply, please send us an email in the first instance, with a full CV including a link to your website and/or Github profile, plus some links to websites you've built in the past (and a brief explanation of what you did, how and why).

This is a permanent position (subject to a probationary period) in their Lincoln studio. Their hybrid working includes three days in-studio (Tuesday-Thursday) and two days working remotely (Monday and Friday) with flexible hours available.

When applying, please send your CV including links to your work and/or your Github profile- they're really looking forward to hearing from you.
