Job Advert

You will be part of a team that provides an efficient, professional and comprehensive support service for a large secondary school.

You will be providing teacher and pupil support to enhance pupil achievement. As required at advanced level, you will also undertake a wide range of whole school support activities and pupil support with regards to the general supervision, safety, care and wellbeing of the pupils which will include covering our medical provision.

Good communication and organisational skills are required and you should enjoy working as part of a team. You should have some experience of working with children, ideally in an educational setting. Successful candidates must undertake training in Manual Handling and First Aid should you not have this.

You will have a good standard of education in literacy and numeracy and be accurate, self-motivated with up-to-date IT skills. You will possess good keyboard skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, together with the ability to learn new skills as required.

This post is temporary until 26th June 2026 due to service requirement.
