As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and contributing to the overall success of our client's primary school. You will work closely with educators to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters the growth and development of young minds.
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional guidance or have special educational needs
- Encourage students to participate actively in classroom activities and discussions
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning
- Assist with the preparation of educational materials and resources
- Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and on educational trips
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
- A valid Enhanced DBS check
