Estover, Plymouth | £13 per hour | Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm | Temporary (Possible Permanent) | Start January 2026

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Seamstress / Seamster to join a busy and friendly manufacturing company based in Estover, Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity to start in January 2026, with ongoing temporary work and the potential to go permanent.

Key Duties
  • Sewing and altering garments to meet customer specifications.

  • Mending and repairing minor damages.

  • Interpreting patterns and selecting suitable fabrics.

  • Cutting and stitching fabric into finished products.

  • Working to production targets while maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements
  • Proven recent experience as a Seamstress or Seamster.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work to deadlines and targets.

  • Strong focus on producing quality workmanship.

What We Offer
  • £13 per hour.

  • Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.
