We are looking for some talented individuals to join our already established team....
We pride ourselves on creating a home-away-from-home atmosphere for you to enjoy speciality coffee and seasonal local food. We celebrate building relationships with local producers in the South West and being sustainably conscious.
We are seeking a cook to join our team. The position will suit someone with a passion for home cooked, seasonal food with an interest in developing an exciting menu and maintaining a popular wholesome food offering. Opportunity to grow and develop with the role for the right candidate.
Essential:
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Desire to be part of a close-knit team

• Self-Motivated with a sense of urgency
• Knowledge of Food hygiene and safety, (training and continuing professional development provided.)
• Able to be on your feet all day
• Chef/cook experience of catering kitchens would be an advantage.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Setting up and managing the day to day running of the kitchen, including daily baking, prep and service and ordering along with leading the communication with the front of house team on specials and any stock shortages or amendments.
Catering for Livestock Market, Truck Stop, Conferences and Events.
Maintaining the kitchen equipment and the cleanliness of the equipment.
Creating new seasonal dishes to help develop the menu further.
Maintaining and monitoring daily records (Temperature records, cleaning checklist, opening and closing guidelines) in line with EHO inspection standards.
Ensure high levels of cleanliness and hygiene are always met.
Always delivering exceptional customer service
Permanent: Full-time & Part-time available
Working on a roster basis (with varied shifts 6am to 9.30pm) which includes weekends and some additional evening work for Events.
