We pride ourselves on creating a home-away-from-home atmosphere for you to enjoy speciality coffee and seasonal local food. We celebrate building relationships with local producers in the South West and being sustainably conscious.
We are seeking General Assistants to join our team. The position will suit someone with a passion for home cooked seasonal food. Opportunity to grow and develop with the role for the right candidate.
Essential:
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Desire to be part of a close-knit team
• Great communication
• Self-Motivated with a sense of urgency
• Knowledge of Food hygiene and safety, (training and continuing professional development provided.)
• Able to be on your feet all day
• Experience of catering environment would be an advantage.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Till work: cashing up, serving customers, taking customer orders.
Waitressing: serving to tables and clearing tables, washing up
Putting away stock, Stock rotation & restocking.
Catering for Livestock Market, Truck Stop, Conferences and Events.
Maintaining and monitoring daily records in line with EHO inspection standards.
Ensure high levels of cleanliness and hygiene are always met. Keeping the restaurant clean & tidy
Always delivering exceptional customer service, polite and pleasant attitude
Permanent: Full-time, Part-time & Just weekends available
Working on a roster basis (with varied shifts 6am to 9.30pm) which includes weekends and some additional evening work for Events.
