What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an excellent grasp of the written word plus a friendly telephone manner.
Previous experience of HR work within a school environment is desirable but not essential. The ability to work accurately and to cope with the demands and pace of the work flow are essential, as arethe ability to prioritise,to meet deadlines and to work well within a team. You can expect a high level of support to thrive in this demanding role.
Training will be provided for the various ICT systems used, although proficiency with ICT in general is essential, with an emphasis on word processing, spreadsheets and maintaining management information systems.
This role will suit an administrator looking for a role within an educational setting or an experienced administrator looking to further their expertise in HR. The role is full-time all-year-round but we will consider applicants that are interested in a term-time only role or a part-time role all year around. The role require occasional travel within the Trust area which includes 2 schools in Canterbury and one in Thanet.
