Location: Great Yarmouth
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (term time only)
Start date: ASAP

talentED are recruiting for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Great Yarmouth.
About the role:
You will support children with special educational needs (SEN) across the classroom, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and develop independence. Duties may include:
Assisting the class teacher with lessons and activities.
Providing one-to-one or small group support.
Supporting personal care where required.
Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting inclusion.
Requirements:
Available Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm during term time.
Willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check (or already have one).
Experience with SEN, additional needs, or transferable skills from similar roles.
Patient, empathetic, and able to work calmly under pressure.
Pay and benefits:
£12.26 – £14.50 per hour (PAYE).
Pay includes 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
Term-time only.
Free CPD and training opportunities.
Potential to move into a permanent position after one or two terms.
