Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school on a long term temporary, ongoing basis, starting as soon as possible.

Duties as a Maths Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners

  • Assess, monitor and record student progress in line with school policy

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes achievement

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively following school procedures

  • Contribute to departmental planning, meetings and assessment moderation

  • Support students in developing problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Participate in professional development and whole-school initiatives

Ideal Maths Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

  • Experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Maths Teacher.

  • A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
