Crynodeb
Principal duties To identify, prioritise, develop and implement programmes of care to meet individual and local needs, considering cultural diversity and ensuring prioritisation of workload as necessary To work with families in a variety of settings including home visits and clinic, providing evidence-based advice and support. To undertake family health assessments and child health surveillance in accordance with the Healthy Child Programme. To provide relevant information to families, to assist informed choices about their own and their familys health. To operate within Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board and SHSCFT Child Protection and Safeguarding Procedures. To maintain and update knowledge around safeguarding children and young people and ensure that practice complies with local and national policies and legislation. To work closely with the Sheffield Safeguarding Advisory Service and other key agencies to ensure the highest level of protection for children at risk. To attend safeguarding or child in need meetings and provide reports as necessary.
