Role Purpose
You will support the development and delivery of the Scottish Government Equally Safe strategy and policy relating to tackling Violence Against Women and Girls in Scottish Borders. You will work collaboratively with the Scottish Borders Violence Against Women & Girls Partnership members and the VAWG strategic lead.
An exciting opportunity in the Scottish Borders to support partner agencies to tackle gender based violence through strong project management, delivery of an effective Equally Safe Strategy and linking Scottish Borders to national initiatives. The role is varied and will provide a range of opportunities for professional development in coordination, strategy development, consultation, performance management, workforce development, community engagement, governance and awareness raising
Essential
Educated to degree or diploma level in a relevant discipline or evidence of experience or ability
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
